I've been sewing costumes for the upcoming production of Macbeth...now our director decided that she wanted to do it traditional...which means kilts...lots and lots of kilts.
They aren't so bad but never and I mean NEVER buy the special Celtic pattern by simplicity 8913. This pattern is not authentic and the amount of fabric that it calls for isn't even close to the amount that you actually use.
The shirt portion of the pattern is as equally bad as the kilt portion. The neck instructions are confusing to the point where I just modified the neckline and did it my own way, as well as the sleeves that happen to dangle a good foot from your wrist.
Other than that I have to start on the witches costumes, as well as Lady Macbeth's dress.
Hopefully soon I'll be able to sit down and advance my sculpting skills but i'm pretty lined up with sewing. After Macbeth I have to sew at least two kimonos, one of which is a Furisode which means....extra long sleeves and fabric that I'm not used to working with. Then I have some commissions one of which is my friend Adam who wants me to make him a traditional eight-yard kilt...then some LARP costuming commissions.

Much love for adding me to your watch
